At the beginning of the Shelter-in-Place Order, Christine Meuris’s e-reader broke. Instead of ordering a new one, she decided to re-visit books on her shelf that were meaningful to her earlier in her life. She has created a series using pages from these books as templates and as the jumping off point for this sewn piece and others. This piece’s title is the same as the book it came from: Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy.
