Paintings by Oakland artist Terryl Dunn bring us to those moments between seeing and cognition that semi-abstract art can elucidate so well. “Works on Paper” is a series of new work and with sure physicality and rushes of energy and color Dunn’s immediate and seemingly uninhibited views of the world share space with the act of art-making itself.

Terryl Dunn was born in Portland Oregon and received his BFA from Pacific Northwest College of Art in 1982. He has exhibited in Portland San Francisco and and New York.
