Continuous Variations is a series of paintings made with tape and house paint that demonstrates ideas about creative consciousness. Intensive marks are derived from networked patterns of city streets, directional signage, inter-lacings of fiber in cloth, the precarious scatter of buildings over land, among other references. By connecting and conjugating these elements, and overstepping their standard through the amplitude of continuous variation, an unforseen becoming is invented.
