Mills College and Mercury 20 Gallery proudly present Manifold, a thesis exhibition on view from January 29 through February 14. The public is cordially invited to the opening reception on January 30 and the closing reception on February 13. The six artists are presenting work in conversation with each other that addresses themes of repetition, perception, the container, and the contained.

KENDYLL NAOMI PAPPAS: by and large start from scratch, an installation and accompanying book that examine language, specifically idiomatic expressions and the association of words and their meanings.
ISABEL DUFFY: repeat, A variable edition of cast objects installed in conversation with chance erasures of a single poem exploring transformation and process.
FAITH HALE: Animal/Hominal/Mineral/Vessel, an installation of the decorative domestic and a four-volume set of hand-bound books that conceptually catalog ornamental items that embellish the home.
PERLA YASMEEN MELENDEZ: An Ode To Everything, a map of daily meditations.
AVA SAKAYA ROSEN: I Could Not Swallow The Grainy Flesh-Colored Memory, Postapocalyptic poetry sitcom/ collective zine dream / self obliteration dance.
E BOND: iteration a book in six parts / a walk through the trees / imagined multiple ways / questioning reiterating patterns of form / exploring the occupation of light / or the nature of perspective / and how to see it all from the other side.
