Pat O’Connor’s painted collage, “Irish Lace” will be exhibited at the West Portal Gallery during the Irish Crossroads Festival, April 18th and 19th, 320 West Portal Avenue in San Francisco. The piece was inspired by a fragment of lace passed down from Pat’s great grandmother who emigrated to the United States from Listowel, Ireland in 1865. Pat has a long-standing interest in salvaged materials and the relationships between objects, story, and memory.
