The Mass

This series builds on my previous project, “The Revelation,” exploring the struggles of those caught in conflicts, especially in the Middle East and Caucasus, resulting in displacement. Visually, it features mixed-media pieces with a dual-layered structure— a solid base layer and a transparent overlay. Viewers engage by adjusting perspectives to unveil concealed elements.

In “The Mass,” initially, the artwork may seem like a dense mix of abstract shapes or daily life related elements. Yet, changing angles reveals crisis images, particularly focusing on immigrants from reliable news sources. This subtly underscores that those affected by conflicts are not just statistics, but real individuals. This prompts viewer engagement, challenging them to uncover the hidden stories.
